Dear Parent(s),

Third Quarter report cards will be sent home by the end of this week. Therefore, the recording of 4th Quarter grades will begin today.
To improve student penmanship and to promote maximum effort on all assignments, students will receive extra points on assignments that are neat and possess the proper heading (Name, date, and class). Ten percent of the total points on any assignment will determine the number of points awarded for penmanship and the appropriate heading.
Thank you,

Jason Herring

Dear Parent(s),

On January 2, 2012, students will return to school. Second Quarter grades have been calculated and shortly after students return from the holiday break, report cards will be sent home.
In Social Studies, 7th grade has begun a unit of study on the Civil war whereas 8th grade has begun a unit of study on World War II. To enforce student accountability in regard to studying, students will be quizzed every two to three days. Tests will be administered about every two weeks.
I hope you've enjoyed the holiday break, and I look forward to a fresh start in the 3rd Quarter and new year.

Thank you,

Jason Herring

Dear Parent(s),

We are wrapping-up our final week on government, and soon, students will be assessed on multiple amendments from the Bill of Rights and the 14th Amendment. Next week, 7th grade will begin to study the U.S. Civil War whereas 8th grade will begin a unit of study on WWII.
Parents will be contacted each time thier child doen't complete or submit a homework assignment. The student will contact the parent to avoid reducing instructional time for the other students.

Thank you,
