Dear Parent(s),
Tomorrow, students will submit a functional essay for a set of directions/instructions. They've had approximately three weeks to complete the assignment. Furthermore, to motivate the students to provide their best effort and performance on all written challenges, including state testing, the number of points for future essays will increase from 40 points to 80 points. This change will be implemented after the holiday break.
During the holiday break, your children are encouraged to read on a daily basis. I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
